There are different ways that you can get involved and time commitments you can make to help care for a child living away from their birth family.

It’s not always possible for children to live with their birth families.  This could be for a number of reasons including abuse, neglect, substance misuse or the child’s needs not being met by the birth family. These children’s emotional and physical health as well as their development may have been adversely affected by their early life experiences and some may have additional support and learning needs.
